I do not like technology for several reasons. The main reason is because technology is taking away several thousand if not million of our countries jobs. Also technology is constantly crashing causing people with jobs to have constant trouble and work more on fixing their computer than doing what they get paid to do. This causes a lot of trouble and can cause people to get fired or layed off and this could cause people to die. And i dont know about you but i dont want anybody to die. World peace is what we need and more technology is not helping out with this. All we need to do is just destroy all technology so all the obese kids will go outside and play!!!

Why reloading your own ammunition is better then buying brand new ammunition. One of the main reasons is the fact that accuracy is so much better when you have reloaded ammunition then store bought ammunition because there is a lot better consistency if you reload them right. Also when you reload your own ammunition you can pick how much powder you want and what size of bullet and what type

Why coyote trapping  and hunting is a good thing

coyote control work can and is done to protect big game animals just before and during fawning time. Most of the cost of this type of control is paid for by the game and fish depts and your liscense fees. Sometimes it is paid for by user groups like Delta Waterfowl or various big game hunter groups. The idea is fairly simple in that you remove the coyotes from the area prior to fawns dropping and then continue to control predators until the fawns are big enough to defend themselves resulting in more game animals and more liscense sales the following fall. Control work of this type is more prevalent in western states but quite a few states have programs in place to protect wintering yards or wintering ranges from predators as well.

Loss to livestock happens a few different ways. You have the coyotes that directly kill a calf or lamb either to feed on or to train pups how to kill, more common with sheep and lambs as calves are big enough to defend themselves by the time pups are being trained. You also have the coyote that will shadow a new mother cow/calf and cause the cow to neglect the calf and it will die from exposure and then be eaten, more common where cows are pastured away from the ranch. The most common loss to livestock is production loss, which is the over-all weight loss across a herd due to stress from predators, not nessarily death from predators but the combined weight lost from each head of cattle at sale time vs. what the cattle would have weighed if not exsposed to predator stress. This can and does add up very fast to the rancher. This type of control work is paid for by either the individual rancher, a rancher/sheepherder assoc. or USDA and our tax money. There are both private and public wildlife controllers and they use a wide variety of control tactics to carry out the work.

Coyotes also bring money both directly and as taxes from recreational hunters and the money they spend on calling equipment, gas, travel, motel rooms, food ect... In addition many hunters sell their furs and generate personal income as well as taxable income.

In the future we may well see a trend of coyote control in major metro and suburban areas that do not recieve any hunting pressure as the coyotes expand into populated areas and lose fear of humans and learn that we are a good source of easy food. Coyotes will take pets as easier prey then wildlife and also are not above raiding garbage cans.

Try not to paint the picture of coyotes as evil killers. They have a place in the natural enviroment and while they need to be controlled, severily in some places, they do not need to be "wiped out". They are only carrying on what they have done in one way or another for a long, long time. While I personally don't think they need to be treated as game animals, we do need to make sure that they are not demonized as all out killers and give the animal the respect that it deserves. Coyote control is about loss prevetion and that does not always mean killing the offender, sometimes it means changing our ways of doing things so that the coyote can not affect you in a harmful way. Many times I've been on a complaint call and heard all these stories of calf killers when in reality the rancher had another problem that killed the calves/sheep and then coyotes being oppurtunist fed on the dead calf.

One of my many mentors or people i look up to is Ted Nugent. The reason why he is my mentor is because he is a redneck that likes to go hunting and he doesn't like Obama. I also hate Obama and the rest of the democrats so i really hope  a republican wins the next election or i might have to do a little bit of rethinking about this whole United States presidential stuff. I really hope Ted nugent gets elected for president in 2016 and not some retarded city slicking northerner. We need to stop letting immigrants and gay people or people that are for these things in our government. So i think Ted Nugent should be our next president and i think that he is one of the greatest individuals there is. I think everyone needs to be more like him and get there mind out of the gutter. Another reason why he is my mentor is because he is a freaking genius. The reason why he is a genius  is because he hunts wild hogs out of a dang helicopter with an AR-15 which is a great idea to lower the population. I hope that one day i can go hunt with him and that we can take out some big ole hogs and some deer. Ted Nugent inspires me with almost everything he does and i watch all of his interviews and hunts. One day i hope to be just like him. And another thing that is really good about him is the fact that he has never been addicted to drugs or alcohol. As you can see Ted Nugent is a freaking genius and amazing person

Out of all the types of dogs out there i think the coonhounds are the best types of dogs. These dogs are fundamentally working dogs that hunt large and small game.Though good-natured and easygoing, these hardy hounds are so in need of hard physical exercise that they belong with an owner who will take them hunting, jogging, biking, hiking, and/or swimming. The problem is that unless well-trained for hunting, coonhounds must not be let off-leash, because they are inveterate explorers who will follow their nose over hill, over dale, through the woods -- and onto the highway. Although if they are trained well they are extremely nice and smart dogs. I have a 12 week old american english coonhound and she is a very hyper dog

Billy Bob Joe the II was fighting evil robots with his best friend johnny Joe Willson the V in their hometown of Garfield. They snuck around the corner of the old barn with their double barrel twelve gauges in front of them looking for the next twenty foot tall robot. When they took there next step two humongous robots seen them and started walking to them with their swords swinging thru the air. Johnny took the first shot and blew the right robots head off as Billy looked down the barrel of his shotgun at the massive beast walking towards him. Billy Squeezed the trigger right as the robot raised his sword way up in the air. The robot fell right in front of Billy’s feet shaking the ground tremendously. They spit a big ole dip out on the bodies of the robots as they walked past them looking for the next robot who would dare to challenge two rednecks and their guns. They walked into the great grandpas old barn and found some old explosives that their family had made about twenty five years ago. Not knowing if the explosives would work they tested their luck with them on their next robot that they would face. The next robot that they seen was a lot bulkier and seemed to be a little bit tougher than the rest, so the two cousins decided to use the explosives on the one. They soaked the explosives in some of their homegrown honey making sure that they didn’t get any on the fuse so that it would stick to the robot when they threw it at it but that the fuse would still burn. They lit the fuse as the monster of a machine was about 30 feet away and, then Billy threw the dripping explosives straight at the robot’s neck. Thankfully the explosives stuck and about two seconds later the biggest bang the county had ever heard rumbled through every creek bed and holler. By this time it was already 6:00 so they decided it was time to go to their hidden cabin way out in the woods where their family was staying so they could have a nice dinner before having to wake up in the morning and take care of some more business.

The next day their grandma Martha told them that they need to get some food for the family today, because their food supply was running low. So, the first thing they did was take there red tick coondogs out to see if they could run some bears or something to put some meat on the table. The two cousins also took their little cousin susie to see if maybe she could shoot a few squirrels on the way. The first thing the dogs hit on was a coon trail and we followed that for about a hundred yards and the dogs finally ran the two coons up a tree and Billy Bob Joe busted him out of the tree with his double barrel winchester 12 gauge. Surprisingly, raccoons can be pretty tasty especially to a family of Arkansas rednecks. Susie had already shot 3 squirrels in the 125 yards that they had walked. They  kept walking around the big holler that wrapped around the family homestead. They  finally hit on a black bear trail and thats when the fun started.  When they let the dogs off their leash they darted off like rockets with the cousins right behind them. The dogs hot on the bears heels chased the bear for almost 300 yards before we heard the howl of the dogs around the next bend of the holler. The dogs had chased the bear up a big old red oak tree which had been there ever since the family had owned the 900 acre homestead. Patiently waiting on a good shot Johnny sat back resting his lever action Marlin 30-30 on a nearby limb. He finally got a good shot on the bear and he slowly squeezed the trigger. The massive 350 pound male black bear fell out of the tree hitting every branch on the way down landing with a tremendous thud on the ground. They gutted the bear right where it landed and had Susie walk back to the house and get the fourwheeler to haul the huge male out of the woods. They had a massive feast that night and  the main dish was raccoon and dumplings.

One of the things i did over christmas break was go to a new years party. The host of the party was my boss Brad Fortner. He owns a feed store and a sign shop in Garfield. My dad, my brother, and I all work at the feed store. It is a pretty fun job.
The first thing we did at the party is eat. After we got done eating we played call of duty: Ghosts and this bird hunting game on the Wii. After about an hour of that all the girls started playing spoons. It was pretty funny watching all the girls fight over the spoons and scream and yell. Then after that went on for about  two hours we started playing hand and foot and it really confused me. After we got through the first round of it we all decided that it was probably time to go home and go to bed because we were all pretty tired at this point.  The next day i slept till like 11 and finally had to get up and do chores.
In conclusion my christmas break was pretty good and i had a lot of fun.
